The Burleson Band Boosters raise money for the
bands thru the following events:
The money raised is used to pay for band
supplies, equipment, repairs, and other band needs as identified
by the band directors. A portion of the money raised is also
used to provide two scholarships for graduating seniors.
If you want to help out but are not sure what
you want to do, contact Sheri Kitts
and she will let you know about all the exciting events that
require volunteers.
You can also complete the
Volunteer Form so your name
can be added to our list.
The Ice Cream Social is the first time the
parents get to hear how hard the High School students have been
working during Marching Band and Color Guard Camps in August.
Parents are asked to being Ice Cream and Cookies. This is
normally held in the High School Cafeteria. This night is also
used as a night where required forms can be submitted and you
can sign up to volunteer for events.
For home football games, all the proceeds from
the Burleson Band Booster concession stands sales go back into
the band program. This includes all the band concession stands
at the high school (south home side and visitor side) and middle schools
(Hughes and Kerr). This is one of the areas
where we need parents help the most. Sign up to work a night or
two and become active with the boosters.
It's easy, you get into the game for free, and
you will see all your friends and neighbors while you work.

Burleson High School sponsors a USSBA
competition and a UIL competition each year. These events earn
the bands thousands of dollars. However, lots of volunteers are
needed to make these events successful. Watch the calendar and
more information about upcoming competitions at Elks Stadium.
Drum Line Parents are needed for chaperoning
for away competitions. If you are interested, please contact
Mr.
White.
Color Guard Parents are needed for chaperoning
for Color Guard competitions. If you are interested, please
contact Mrs. Sharp.
Kerr Middle School sells fertilizer every
year. This fertilizer is very good and makes your yard look
wonderful. If you are interested in helping with the Kerr Middle
Schools fundraisers, please contact the
Kerr Band Directors.
